Karl Urban in Pathfinder

The prospect of seeing Karl Urban in Native American drag is almost enough to get me to the theater to see Pathfinder. Actually, the movie has an interesting premise: a Viking boy, left behind after a raid, is raised by a Native Americans and ultimately takes their side in their battle against the Norsemen. It reminds me of "Arak, Son of Thunder", a comic book created by Roy Thomas and Ernie Colon that I enjoyed; in that one, it's a Native American boy who's raised by Vikings. (There is a Pathfinder graphic novel published by Dark Horse, but I'm not sure whether it's an adaptation of the movie, or vice versa.) Too bad the reviews for Pathfinder aren't all that good.

Karl Urban was born in New Zealand and is best known for playing Eomer in the Lord of the Rings movies and Cupid and Julius Caesar in "Xena: Warrior Princess".
