Alejandro Maldonado
Something nice to have with your morning coffee: Alejandro Maldonado is the (apparently always shirtless) instructor de Yoga on the morning TV program HOY.

Maldonado began his study of yoga in New York City, but it was in Miami that he pursued classes and accreditation as a teacher. Studying under Wayne Krasnner at the Miami Yoga Center, Maldonado mastered the techniques of Ashtanga Yoga that would lay the foundation for his career. He returned to New York and began working with Sharon Gannon and David Life, founders of the Jivamukti Yoga Center of New York City, where Maldonado gained his first experience as an instructor. A turning point in Maldonado's career with his travels to India, where he studied his beloved art form at its roots. During time spent in the city of Katmandu, Nepal, Maldonado studied Buddhist meditation with Tibetan monks living there. The experience inspired Maldonado to integrate Buddhist principals into his teaching methods, shaping him as an instructor and contributing to the formation of the individual voice that would lead him to fame...
