César Cielo
César Augusto Cielo Filho, born on January 10, 1987 in Santa Bárbara d'Oeste, São Paulo, is a freestyle swimmer who specializes in sprint events. He won the gold medal in the 50 meter freestyle at the Beijing Olympics -- Brazil's first ever gold in swimming -- and he currently holds the NCAA and U.S. Open record for the 50 and 100 yard freestyle events. He attends Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
