John Abraham in "Dostana"

Dostana is another one of those movies in which a straight guy pretends to be gay. Of course there's a woman (played by Priyanka Chopra) thrown into the mix. Sounds tiresome, except in this case the straight guy playing gay is played by none other than Bollywood überhunk John Abraham. And at least there's a slight twist to the usual formula: Kunal (John Abraham) and Sameer (Abhishek Bachchan) pretend to be gay in order to obtain an apartment...

Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham play best buddies in the movie and Abhishek is madly in love with Priyanka [Chopra], who is crazy about John instead. This love triangle has an edge as rather than acting to be in love with some other girl, John tries to portray that he is gay hoping that eventually Priyanka would fall in love with Abhishek. But wearing a gay garb proves expensive for John as Bobby Darling gets attracted to him and then, the fun begins. (Synopsis from Bollywood Blog.)
