Hot Pope: Thomas Kretschmann
Thomas Kretschmann played Pope John Paul II in "Have No Fear: The Life of Pope John Paul II," which aired on December 1. I missed because I had it confused with the Jon Voight version, which airs tonight. I'm sure Kretschmann did a fine job, but it strikes me that he was a bit of a miscast because, as you can see, he has a bod for sin:
Thomas Kretschmann was born on September 8, 1962 in Dessau,Germany. Before becoming an actor he was trained as an Olympics swimmer. He'll appear in the upcoming remake of "King Kong."
