Ryk Neethling

First, head over to www.menshealthsa.com -- the South African version of Men's Health magazine -- for some terrific desktop wallpapers, including several of South African swimmer Ryk Neethling...

As for Ryk Neethling, he's one of South Africa’s greatest sporting icons. He's participated in the last three Olympic Games for South Africa, winning a Gold medal and a World Record performance in the the 4x100 freestyle relay at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece. He holds the South African record in five different events and ranks in the top ten in the world in both the 50, 100, 200 Freestyle and Individual Medleys. Despite finishing last in his heat of the 100m freestyle in Beijing, the 30-year-old swimmer is still talking of attending the 2012 games. He was born on November 17, 1977 in Bloemfontein, South Africa. More of him in this foto album.

Here's our Man of the Month for March, 2008, folks -- a day early, because I forgot it's a leap year. He's Juan Pablo Llano, a top model, actor, and TV host from Colombia. Among his other credits, he was the co-host of "Frente al miedo", which we know better as "Fear Factor". He was born on November 17, 1977 in Medellin. He's a worthy successor to John Abraham, I think you'll agree.

28 days hath February, which is not nearly enough time for us to fully appreciate the glory that is our departing Man of the Month, Bollywood actor John Abraham.
